New Internship Batch Kicks Off at Muthu Kumaran Engineering College — Welcome HR, BDE & Software Dev Interns!
Today felt like the first page of
a new story. Shanthi IT Solution welcomed a fresh batch of interns from
Muthu Kumaran Engineering College
students joining our Human Resources (HR), Business Development
Executive (BDE), and Software Development internship programs. There was nervous
excitement in the air, coffee cups in hands, and a dozen eager faces ready to
learn. We loved that energy.
To be fair, the first day is always a mix of orientations
and practical tips. We don’t drown newcomers in theory. Instead, we started
with real talk:
- What
a day at Shanthi IT Solution looks like
not the polished version, but the everyday: client calls, debugging
sprints, design reviews.
- How
to ask the right questions (yes, awkward ones are welcome).
Internships change you faster
than classroom projects. A simple example one HR intern who joined later this
afternoon asked how we measure employee happiness. That question led to a
ten-minute conversation about quick pulse surveys, small recognition rituals,
and why listening matters more than fancy analytics. She left with a small
task: create a one-question survey for her peers. That’s the kind of hands-on
start we love.
What we expect (and what interns can expect from us)
- Practical
work: You’ll touch live projects, not just sample assignments.
- Mentorship:
Every intern gets a mentor for weekly check-ins.
- Feedback:
Honest, actionable, and frequent.
- Room
to fail: We’ll let you make reasonable mistakes and help you fix them.
You might not realize this, but the best learning happens
when you pair doing with reflecting. So we build short retros after
mini-sprints five minutes to note what
worked and one thing to improve. Small habits add up.
A quick shoutout to the students from Muthu Kumaran you showed up curious and ready. Also, thanks
to our internal mentors who cleared schedules to be present. That support
matters more than you’ll ever know.
If you’re joining us this season or thinking about applying,
bring curiosity, a willingness to roll up your sleeves, and a sense of humor.
We’re excited to watch this batch grow, stumble, learn, and succeed.
